REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS

. Biomedical Engineers

Applicants should possess at least any of the following: OND/HND/B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering.

Relevant Work experience would be an added bonus

. Casualty Officers

Applicants should possess M.B.B.S degree or its equivalent certificate of full registration with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria,

Evidence of compleation of NYSC and at least 3 years post NYSC WORKING EXPERIENCE in a reputable teaching hospital

. Community Health Extension Workers 

Applicants should posses the certificate of community health extension workers in either the junior or senior category from a recognised institution of training

. Consultants 

MBBS or its equivalent, full registration and current practising license with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria and possession of full fellowship certificate in the appropriate discipline from either the National Post Graduate Medical colledge or the West African Collede of Surgeons or their equivalent .

A sub-specialty diploma or fellowship in the discipline will be an added advantage with a minimum of 10 years Post qualification experience.

. Health care assistants

Certified evidence of traning from school of Health Technology

Working experience in the capasity will be an added advantage

. Lab Scientist/Technicians

a. Scientist

Applicants must possess a ist degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS/AMLSON)

Certificate of registration and current membership with the Medical Laboratory Science Coucil of Nigeria

Evidence of regular participation in certified professional developement 

Computer literacy and relevant years of working experience in a governmental establishment as required in the civil services for the various cadres stated

b. Health Information Technicians

OND in Health or its equivalent from a recognised traning institution. 

Relevant working experience will be an added advantage

. Medical Records

a. For the possition of Health Information Manager and others, applicants should posses HND or B.Sc degree or its equivallent in Health Information Management from a recognised training institution, evidence of completion or exemption from NYSC and years of relevant working experience in a government establishment as required in the civil service for the various posts

b. Health information Technicians

OND in Health records or its euivalent from a recognised training institution. 

Relevant Working experience

. Medical Social Services

B.Sc degree in Sociology from a recognised institution

Evidence of compleation of or exemption  from NYSC 

Possession of a post graduate qualification in MSS 

. Nurses

Possesion of RN, RM (especially in the case of midwives)

Evidence of current registration and practicing licence with the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria

Certified evidence of Post Basic training in the appropriate areas of Nursing and relevant years of working experience as required in the various categories listed

Possession of a Bachelor in Nursing Sciences will be an added advantage

. Opticians

Applicants should posses Diploma in Dispensing Optics and at least 3 years practising experience

. Optometrists

Applicants should possess the Doctor of Optometry degree 

Evidence of complition of internship and NYSC and certificate of registration with the Optometrist Council of Nigeria

. Pharmacists/Pharmacist Technicians

a. Pharmacist

B. Pharm or Pharm. D from a recognised university and registration with current practising licence with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria

Relevant work experience and computer literacy especialy in the use of the Pharmacy Information system (PIS) will be an added advantage

b. Pharmacy Technicians

Certificate of Pharmacy Technician course from a recognised training institution with evidence of registration with the Pharmacist Council Of Nigeria

Relevant working experience 

. Physiotherapists

Applicants must posses B.Sc/BMR or its equivalent in physiotherapy

Certificate of registration with the Medical rehabilitation therapist board of Nigeria. Evidence of having compleated physiotherapy internship in a recognised institution and certificate of compleation or exemption from NYSC

. Radiographers/Medical Imaging Scientists

Applicants should possess B.Sc degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging Science or its equivalent with evidence of compleation of internship

Certificate of registration with the Radiographers board of Nigeria and evidence of compleation of or exemption from NYSC

Applicants with proficiency in C.T, MRI, Mammography and having worked with digital imaging facilities will be an added advantage

. Registras

Possesion of MBBS degree or its equivalent 

Full registration and current practising licence with the medical and dental council of Nigeria.

Evidence of having attempted or passed the primary exermination in the appriopriate disipline of either the National post graduate medical collede or west african colledee of surgeons as an added advantage

. Technicians

a. Dialysis, EEG, ECG, Sterilization services, Spirometry

B.Sc , HND, or OND in any science related course preferrably biomedical engineering or SSCE and certificate of trainingin the appriopriate area mentioned above.

Relevant working experience

b. Anaesthetic Technicians

SSCE with certificate of traning as an anaesthetic technician 

Relevant working experience

c. Dental, Plaster Technicians

Certificate in Dental/Plaster Technician course from a recognised training institution. 

Relevant Working experience and possesion of an SSCE will be an added advantage

Note:

1. All applicants into clinical possitions must show evidence of registration with and or current practising license with the respective regulating bodies or councils in Nigeria
